How to Install & Update Software using Command Prompt | CMD TRICKS | WINGET | 2024
This video helps to install and upgrade software using the cmd.
Press “Win + X” and choose “Command Prompt (Admin)” from the Start menu. Now, type the command into the Command prompt window and press “Enter”.
Command:
👉 To check what software is installed : winget list
👉 To Install software: winget install “add the software name
👉 To check if an update is available: winget upgrade
👉 To update all apps and software: winget upgrade --all
Let’s assume that you want to install Google Chrome, AnyDesk, 7zip, Acrobat Reader, or Firefox . In the command prompt window type
👉winget install google chrome
👉winget install firefox
👉winget install anydesk
👉winget install 7zip
👉winget install Adobe.Acrobat.Reader.64-bit or winget install --id=Adobe.Acrobat.Reader.64-bit -e
👉winget install --id Microsoft.Office
👉 For uninstall 👈
👉winget uninstall anydesk
👉winget unistall 7zip
👉winget uninstall firefox
👉winget unistall google chrome
👉winget uninstall Adobe.Acrobat.Reader.64-bit
👉winget uninstall --id Microsoft.Office
