Bio-inspired Robot Swarms | Rishikesh Vanarse
TechWeekend CTE brings to you ERC talk on “Bio-inspired Robot Swarms” by Rishikesh Vanarse. This session will focus on Swarm Robotics, a branch of robotics that uses "swarm intelligence" or "collective decision-making algorithms" to provide a group of "unintelligent" robots with the potential to demonstrate intelligent behavior.
Multiple homogeneous or heterogeneous robots are coupled in swarm robotics to form a swarm of robots. Individual robots can communicate with each other and react to the environment independently since they have processing, communication, and sensing capabilities on board.
