Stackathon Presentation: Cybernetic Music Box
This project is an adaptation of Richard Brautigan's 1967 techno-utopian poem, "All Watched Over By Machines Of Loving Grace".
Elsa Brown wrote a program to convert the poem's text into audio frequencies, and built a scrolling music box that 'plays' the poem back, based on user-interaction.
Cybernetic Music Box was built using the tone.js library and Web Audio API, Scroll Magic API, CSS webkit animations, and a super-lightweight Node server implemented with the http-server and browserify packages.
