Stackathon Presentation: Pair Programming Feedback
Almost every day at Fullstack Academy/Grace Hopper we pair program. Afterwards, we are asked to give some feedback about the pairing. This feedback is used in an algorithm that selects future partners, but it is never shared with the people who would benefit from it most -- the partner!
This project showcases some forms that could be used to collect more meaningful feedback which can be submitted anonymously or not. Finally, using a d3-react module, the ratings are visualized in comparison to how the user rated themselves and displayed along with written comments from partners, updated on a week-by-week basis, or as a summary total. Reflection and feedback data persists on the page because it is linked to a firebase database. After submittal, users have the option to edit it for a week.
