Neşide-i Zafer Marşı - 20th Century Turkish Military Music
The "Neşide-i Zafer Marşı" (Ode to Victory) was composed by Leyla Saz Hanım in the Hijaz maqam to honor the second proclamation of the Constitutional Monarchy regime in 1908. The lyrics are written by Fehime Nüzhet, and the march is also known as the "Vicdan-ı Muazzam Marşı" (March of Profound Conscience). It includes references to Enver Bey and Resneli Niyazi Bey, who played significant roles in the declaration of the Second Constitutional Monarchy.
