In season 2, when the land changes to desert, Happy tries figure out how to back home, but the the cliff breaks to quicksand. Tabaluga and his two little friends Ruby and Buzz found her, trying to get her out but the wind was to strong, but manage to get her out in time before the dust storm shows up.
She fully sank until Tabaluga grabs in inside.
In season 3, Digby and Happy were following Arktos and James and fell to their trap in quicksand. Tabaluga was about to fly off to rescue them but that wise owl tells him he won't make it in time. But Digby and Happy manage to free themselves but using the giant leaves to get the vines down. They only sank to neck till they got out.
I get the seasons are bad because due to huge differences and changes with season 1.
But I still like the scene with quicksand in there. :)
