When Tabaluga went the wrong way through the desert. It was too hot and dry for the north. He stopped in an oasis. He lost the star and wished Happy and Digby were with him. Then he realized he was in quicksand. Shouhu used his crystal ball to show Tabaluga. It turned out he was in the oasis of doom. Happy and Digby stole the plane. Since he took the long way they take the short cut. When they got there, it was too late was sunk under. But Digby dug a hole around to drain it. Luckily he was still saved in time.
