TOP 8 THINGS TO DO AFTER INSTALLING UBUNTU 16 04 LTS

In this video, I will show what to do after installing Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
1. Check for any updates from Software Updater, Do it ones a week, to be up to date. 0:17
2. Check for any drivers for example: Video card drivers, new device drivers 2:11
3. Install Alternative browser, for example, Chrome, Opera etc Install Chrome 2:29 Install Opera 3:29
4. Install Other Software center Ubuntu software center - https://apps.ubuntu.com/cat/applicati... 4:21
5. Install Ubuntu-restricted-extras. This program includes Multimedia codecs. 5:29
6. Install Adobe flash You can find in the Ubuntu Software Center 6:23
7. Install a System Cleaner - BleachBit 6:55
8. Unity Tweak tool and customize unity 7:21 Move Unity Launcher 7:39 gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Launcher launcher-position Bottom gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Launcher launcher-position Left Decide Where App Menus Show Up 8:26
When you're using several apps it's often hard to know which app the 'Files', 'Edit', etc. strip at the top of the screen belongs to — or where they've suddenly vanished to 1. Go to 'System Settings -- Appearance 2. Select the 'Behavior' tab 3. Find the section headed: 'in the Menu bar' 4. Check the circle next to 'In the window's title bar'
