Hello everyone, and welcome back to a new video.
In this video, I’m going to show you how you can fix the issue of Instagram stories not sharing to Facebook stories. If you want to learn how to do it, just follow the steps I’m about to show you.
As you can see, I’m currently on Instagram, and this is how the homepage looks. At the bottom, you’ll find all the main sections—Home, Search, Reels, and finally your Profile page.
To begin, tap the icon at the top right corner to go to your account settings. Once you're there, scroll down and you’ll find the Account Center under your account settings. Tap on Account Center.
Now you’ll be taken to a new page where you’ll see your profile. Under that, find and tap Connected Experiences. Inside this section, you'll see options like Sharing Across Profiles and Logging in with Accounts.
Tap on Sharing Across Profiles.
Here, you’ll see a message saying, “Add your account to enable connected experiences like sharing your Instagram story and posts to Facebook.”
To share your Instagram story to your Facebook story, you first need to link or add your Facebook profile.
Tap on Add Account, then select Add Facebook Account.
Instagram will then ask for your permission to access info from your Facebook account. Tap Continue to give permission.
If you want to use a different Facebook account, tap Not You, which will take you to the Facebook login page. Log in with the account you want to connect.
Once linked, you’ll be able to share your Instagram stories and posts directly to your Facebook profile.
