There are two types of rare item drops in RPGs: the too good to use or the one's that exist for novelty. In this video... I talk about both! As a follow up to my video on rare enemy encounters, this video is a more general list of examples for another common RPG trope: the rare item drop. Covering examples like the infamous Crissaegrim from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and the many rare rewards from Final Fantasy such as the Pink Tails... and Pokemon LOL. I even take a few suggestions from my viewers such as Earthbound's Sword of Kings.
