For myself and a quite a few people, Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance is our first experience with Shin Megami Tensei V as a whole. I never bought the original SMT V because I did not own a Switch. SMT V Vengeance releasing on all platforms was huge for me. I played both Canon of Vengeance and a NG+ run on Canon of Creation for this video. This won't be a deep dive analysis like my Persona retrospectives. Rather, just my overall thoughts on SMTVV. Major plot points for SMT5 and SMT5 V will be discussed, but not over-analyzed like my usual schtick. The main point of this video is to show how SMTV Vengeance has made me more confident in Megami Tensei as a whole and what made that confidence waiver in the first place.
