When switching to a climate-friendly power supply, we can't avoid wind power. Wind energy can save us enormous amounts of CO2 emissions – wind turbines pay for themselves energetically after just three to five months. This means that after this time, they have generated as much energy as is needed for their production and operation, for example.
But how does a wind turbine actually work? And how is it maintained? For this video, I climbed atop a wind turbine and talked to people whose job it is to take care of such wind turbines.
