Being a content creator isn't all sunshine and rainbows. In this video, I share my personal experience about what it really means to be in the public eye, work with agencies, and deal with the constant pressure of the algorithm. Here, I'll tell you the good, the bad, and what nobody tells you about this job. Some of the topics we cover are:
The audience: Everyone will have an opinion, whether it's hate, cringe, or comments that make you doubt whether they really understand what you do. And don't even get me started on those who think this is an easy job. I'll explain my theory of the vulnerability dilemma.
The agencies: If you've ever worked with agencies, you'll definitely relate. From meticulously planning every detail to avoid any mistakes, to dealing with opportunistic people who want to catch you off guard. On top of that, everything is paid within 60 days, if you're lucky, and if you don't set clear boundaries, you'll get taken advantage of.
The work itself: This is a 24/7 job. The algorithm is unforgiving, and you're always being accountable. But despite everything, it's still an incredible experience that I definitely recommend.
