Lossless Scaling, Nvidia Smooth Motion & AMD Fluid Frames have been the talk of the town as a way to improve performance in Escape From Tarkov, but it doesn’t work the way most people think.

In this video, I test Lossless Scaling at different target FPS values (999, 250, and 150) and show when it actually feels smoother, when it looks strange, and when it completely breaks.

This isn’t a magic FPS boost.
If you’re CPU-capped, this likely won’t help.
If your target FPS is set lower than your real FPS, it can actually feel worse than native.

What matters here isn’t the FPS number, it’s frame pacing and input delay.

PC specs, settings, and timestamps below.
Let me know what FPS you get in Tarkov and whether this worked on your setup.
