Path of Exile is a free to play Action RPG. Similar to Diablo and Torchlight. All characters share a skill tree and you can build your character any way you'd like with some pretty crazy variations. Instead of getting spells from leveling up you get them from Skill Gems that you either find or get as a reward for quests and equipping those skill gems grants you that ability to use as you see fit!
