This week, I start with a Microsoft Teams blog post about "Call Record Insights." Contrary to what the name might imply, it’s not a new feature or product, but guidance and sample code for developers looking to utilize call records data in Teams.
Moreover, I talk about an update to the Microsoft Teams App Store validation process, especially concerning AI-generated content. Developers are now required to clearly indicate if their app generates AI content, ensure means for users to report objectionable content, and maintain a safe workplace environment by moderating AI outputs.
Lastly, I cover the integration of GitHub Copilot with the Visual Studio IDE in its latest version (17.10), making the AI coding assistant seamlessly available right out of the box for developers. This encapsulates the push towards more integrated and user-friendly developer tools.
