Pixelated Transition Effect (No Plugins Required!) | Final Cut Pro X
In a pixelation transition, there is a loss of resolution of one image/video as it dissolves into another. Pixelation transitions suggest digital technologies without being too obvious.
In this tutorial, I'll be walking you through, step-by-step, on how to create simple pixelated transition effect, using the latest version of Final Cut Pro X (10.4) without having to download any plugins!
The main built-in fcpx tools we'll be focusing on are:
Pixellate
Prism
Sharpen
...and those wonderful keyframes.
