Backtrack movie - Special Make-up Effects, Prosthetics - Ghosts
Our company, Make-up Effects Group, was hired to design and build all the prosthetic Make-up Effects for the film, BACKTRACK.
With make-up artist Katherine Brown, we designed and created various “Ghost” silicone prosthetic make-ups, wounds and effects.
Face and body casts were taken of each of the actors: Bruce Spence, Anna Lise Phillips and Chloe Bayliss.
Sculptures were created in plasticine, each showing devastating wounds and traumas. All moulded in Epoxy resin.
Encapsulated silicone face and body appliances were fabricated. Air bladders were utilized for some of the effects, to show skin being manipulated by the hand of the “Ghost”.
