Sku Grid for Amazon Sellers: How to Make Sku Grid Change Only Stock and Not Price

In this short video, we're going to show you how to set Sku Grid to be able to only control your Amazon stock and NOT price. Some users have a need for this function because either they want to manually control their prices or use a different software for the changing of their prices. You can avoid conflict by following these simple steps.
Once logged in to Sku Grid, click on Settings.
Click on Marketplaces.
Click on Amazon.
Click on US or UK depending on the platform you are selling on.
Scroll down and set Auto Update Amazon Stock = Yes
Set Auto Update Amazon Price = No
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and Save the Settings.
Please note: If you happen to Force Reprice your items, these settings will be ignored and your prices would change. So if you're setting up Sku Grid to not change prices, be sure to never force reprice your items (unless you go and manually edit the item in skugrid and set a fixed price on it).
Now, if you want Sku Grid to control prices for all items but want to maintain a fixed price and only have stock controlled for a select item, then please leave the Auto Update Amazon Stock and Auto Update Amazon Price options set to Yes here. I'll now show you how to have Sku Grid only change stock on an individual item.
Please navigate to the My Items Page.
Locate the item that you want to set a fixed price on and only have stock controlled.
Click Edit on that particular item.
Scroll down to the bottom and click Override Default Selling Formula.
Instead of using the Wizard to create a formula that scales up or down with supplier changes, you can set a fixed price. For example $59.99 by manually typing 59.99 in the Selling Price Formula Box for that item.
When you do this, Sku Grid will keep your selling price on that particular item set to 59.99 but it will be able to control your stock.
Please note: If your supplier price changes and you are no longer profitable, if you set this up, you should be coming in and changing this fixed price amount to a new selling price that would yield a profit for you.
