How is this class organized, anyhow?
Week 1 Overview (00:02): Week 1 was focused on familiarizing students with Moodle and Discord, with activities centered around getting used to the platforms.
Week 2 Structure (00:34): Week 2 follows a more typical format with four main sections: Start Here, Think, Learn, and Do. Each section serves a specific purpose, guiding students through the week's content and activities.
Think, Learn, Do (01:35): The "Think" section provides resources to get students thinking about the week's topics. The "Learn" section offers additional educational content, including technology-related playlists. The "Do" section contains assignments to be submitted, with this week's focus on a Zoom preference survey, a crowdsourcing and ethics discussion, and a portfolio outline.
Use of Discord (06:16): Discord is the main platform for class communication and discussion. Students are encouraged to use threads for organized discussions and keep their posts concise.
General Expectations (09:34): The course will follow a consistent rhythm each week with new modules opening up. Students should keep Discord open for communication and submissions.
