A New Bat Species for Costa Rica: The Honduran Fruit-eating Bat
Every once and a while a different species of bat comes into Costa Rican territory. Some move on but others stick around. The Honduran Fruit-eating Bat has a relatively small distribution from El Salvador into Nicaragua and now into northwestern Costa Rica.
