Seed Eaters in a Cloud Forest
There are seed predators and seed dispersers and sometimes the one species does both. Deer mice will eat the seeds soon after finding them while Spiny Pocket Mice will store them for later snacks. Leaf-cutter Ants use them as a substrate to grow fungus on them and then they eat the fungus. Pacas just eat them as fast as they can before a Puma shows up.
