At ShipTime, not only can you save time & money when shipping envelopes and packages, but if you already have courier accounts set up, you can bring your own rates to compare them to ours - at no cost!
ShipTime members are able to use their own carrier account with all the features they've come to love like branded tracking, eCommerce integrations, and much more!
In today's video, we will take you through the steps to add your own courier accounts into the ShipTime platform, let's jump in!
First, in your ShipTime account, click “Carriers” in the left side menu.
Here, you will see all the couriers available to connect such as Canada Post, Purolator, DHL, FedEx, UPS, Canpar, Loomis, GLS, and more.
Next, hover on the courier that you would like to connect and click on the + sign. You will be prompted to enter the corresponding required information to complete the account connection.
If you don't have them already, you can find these details by logging into your courier account or by following the steps at the bottom of the pop up.

Once you have completed the details required for your chosen courier the connection will be made and you are ready to start shipping.
If any information is missing or is incorrect, you will receive a warning message.
Now with your rates connected, let's do a quick quote.
Navigate to “Quick Quote” in the side menu and fill in all the required information. Next click on “Get Quote”

To confirm you are viewing your own courier rates the question mark for the rate breakdown will be orange.

If you are looking to connect to Canada Post, you can add your own account, or if you do not have one yet, you can open a new account directly through ShipTime!
Start by Clicking on Canada Post and then clicking Connect.
You will be redirected to the Canada Post website.
Here you have two options - login to an existing account, or register for a brand new account.
After following the login or account creation process on Canada Post’s website and finishing, you will be redirected back to ShipTime, and Canada Post will be active.
