What is it?
A Simulator... Crazy relocation one from Team17... Worms, Overcooked, My Time At Portia, Lemmings, The Escapists, any of this rings a bell?
Pros:
Unique & Inventive
Fun & Aesthetic in its on way
Humor (Last level of the demo refers to the classic "Frogger")
Couch coop oriented / Local coop (non native online coop possible cf below)
Remote Play Together (Online Coop possible !)
Well optimized / Runs on a toaster
Cons:
Singleplayer alone isn't enough to justify a purchase
Wobbly controls/messy physics, fun but feels totally random at times (Played with a pad)
Monotonous
One step backward compared to big titles which made Team17 reputation
This is a good idea, up to its wobbly funny physics, it feels like a party game wanna be via Remote Play and/or couch coop, it certainly works but after playing the demo, I didn't feel like pushing it to the full version.
No matter how much I want to like this game because Team17 is behind, this is far to be an unforgettable one as was Worms which became a classic you could back to hours and hours and still have fun. They got us used to better and this time, this is nothing but one more little indie game according to me.
Tested at 1080p max settings recording the video (ultra quality) watching a stream on a secondary monitor, it ran perfectly on my average rig dedicated to Youtube, it won't be a problem no matter the rig.
