Yellow Jacket Spectracide on Thermal Camera (White Hot)
I attack a Yellow Jacket nest under cover of darkness using a thermal camera. I had tried tearing apart the strawbale I thought the nest was in last night, but when I ripped the strawbale apart with a scaffold jack, they swarmed me, even after dark. I learned, they use flashlights too. Mine. To figure out where I was. Thankfully, I was wearing a beekeeper suit and did not get stung once. Thank you to the viewer who sent that in. Tonight, I decided to try using a thermal imager and total darkness to attack them. I used a Pulsar Helion Pro II XP50 640 thermal monocular on white hot mode, and a can of Spectracide hornet killing sprayfoam. From the roof of the first floor.
