Via del Campo (1967) è una canzone scritta da Fabrizio De André con l'arrangiamento musicale di Gian Piero Reverberi.
La canzone è ambientata in via del Campo, una strada facente parte dei carruggi di Genova, città natale dell'autore, che negli anni sessanta del Novecento era teatro di amori mercenari, di illeciti commerci e di poesia, che avrebbe ispirato molti brani di successo dall'artista ligure (Bocca di Rosa, Crêuza de mä, Princesa ecc.).
Nella canzone ci sono delle istantanee su alcuni personaggi: «una graziosa che vende a tutti la stessa rosa» sull'uscio del bordello, «una bambina» che potrebbe rappresentare la speranza in mezzo al degrado, oppure una ragazza molto giovane che sta iniziando a prostituirsi ed un illuso che crede di potervisi maritare, per impadronirsi di quel «paradiso solo lì al primo piano». Tuttavia, lei non cambierà mai la sua vita.

Via del Campo (1967) is a song written by Fabrizio De André with the musical arrangement by Gian Piero Reverberi.
The song is set in Via del Campo, a street that is part of the carruggi of Genoa, the author's hometown, which in the 1960s was the scene of mercenary love affairs, illicit trade and poetry that would inspire many successful songs by the Ligurian artist (Bocca di Rosa, Crêuza de mä, Princesa, etc.).
In the song there are snapshots of a few characters: "a pretty one who sells everyone the same rose" on the doorstep of the brothel, "a little girl" who might represent hope amidst the decay, or a very young girl who is beginning to prostitute herself and a deluded man who believes he can marry that "whore" in order to seize that "paradise only there on the second floor,". She, however, will never change her life.
