Spent The Day Shaping Young Minds!
Well, kind of a write off of a video this week. I was super busy shaping young minds, so you'll have to forgive me.
This week, I joined Warren Bills of Xarvio in Regina, and we drove out to a small rural community in eastern Saskatchewan called Langenburg.
The mission? Teach kids about agriculture. Warren gave a presentation about different careers in Ag, showing the kids that "farming" is just one small piece of the Ag pie. Robots? Satellites? Automation? Ag has it all.
After Warren's talk, I filled the kids in on Biotechnology, GMO's, What they are used for, and if they are safe or not.
We spoke to kids from Kindergarten all the way to Grade 12. It was a heck of a day!
