Zach Smith may be a newcomer to the world of surf shaping, but his passion and dedication are undeniable. With a deep respect for the craft and those who came before him, Zach is quickly making a name for himself in the Wilmington, NC surf scene.
During our Spring Campaign, we had the opportunity to spend a morning with Zach, exploring the waterways around Masonboro Island on his boat, Beluga, which shares the same font as Smith Surfboards. Despite the lack of waves, it was a memorable experience. The chilly air and calm waters provided a serene backdrop as we discussed Zach's inspirations and aspirations for Smith Surfboards.
