This is my own pattern but the idea of making a potty pad was not my own.

Here's how to make a cuddle cup!!
   • How to Make a Cuddle Cup

Materials:
Fleece for top/bottom of potty pad
U-Haul padding
Scissors and pins
Thread and needle
Sewing machine
Paper to make pattern cutouts.

Step 1:
Cut out the following patterns from paper:
One 15" X 15" square
One 16"X 16" square

Step 2:
Use paper patterns to cut out the following:

Using the 15" X 15" square...
Two from U-Haul padding

Using the 16" X 16" square...
One from solid color fabric
One from patterned fabric

Step 3:
Lay out 16" x 16" solid fabric square wrong side up.
Center 15" X 15" U-haul padding on top and pin.
Repeat step for the patterned fabric.

Step 4:
Stitch in place 1/4" from edge of U-Haul padding.
Repeat for other fabric.

Step 5:
Sew a straight line from top to bottom 5.5" from both right and left side edging.
Repeat step for other fabric. This helps hold the u-haul padding in the washing machine.

Step 6:
Place patterned and solid fabric right sides together and pin.

Step 7:
Stitch a 1/4" seam leaving a 3-4" opening for turning.

Step 8:
Turn inside out
Tuck in seam allowance and pin. Hand stitch closed.
