On September 20, the Mizuho India Japan Study Centre (MIJSC) celebrated its seventh Foundation Day at IIM Bangalore. Chairperson Prof. Jaideep Sarkar emphasized the need for deeper understanding in India-Japan business interactions, while Prof. Rishikesha Krishnan highlighted the Centre's initiatives like Lean Manufacturing Practices and Japanese Language Courses. Guest of Honour Mr. Koji Kato, Director General of the Japan Foundation, discussed India-Japan complementarity in economic development. Dr. S. Vidyashankar, Vice Chancellor of VTU, addressed the importance of multidisciplinary engineering education.
