AI is going to replace YOU... or is it?
With the rise of ChatGPT, Open AI, and Dall-e-2 among all the others; we are witnessing a revolution unlike anything we have ever seen before. The future is now and we are now in a position where we must either adapt to the times or be left behind and with that we must face the reality that our jobs, our careers, and everything we have spent our entire lives building up may be at the mercy of intelligent machines.
Will AI replace artists? Will our future be a monochrome landscape where creativity is absent or will this propel us into an AI-assisted renaissance? Or perhaps a different option altogether...
With the rise of CLIP / GAN models such as Dall-E, Midjourney, Nightcafe along with many others; this poses a major risk to the world of art, small artists will be undercut and the majority of artists will have to tackle the fact that their own work is being fed into machines which will, in turn, be used to try and replace them. This is the moral and ethical predicament that artists are currently facing and this needs to be addressed directly.
The future is looking interesting, will this be another fad that becomes the laughing stock of public opinion like Crypto and NFT's or will this be the stepping stone to our next stage of technological growth?
