My main focus in that film was to shine a light on the proces & trajectory of this long & brave quest, and not so much on what ideas the composer himself has on how to judge quality in art. But of course I also interviewed the composer about his thoughts on this topic, especially because he wrote an uptill now unpublished essay about this subject that I had studied before travelling to his home in France to film him in september 2023.
