We Only Have Power for a Few Hours a Day in Kyiv
Blackouts in Ukraine have made life much harder recently. In our district we only have power for a few hours at a time. It's usually on for 2-3 hours and then off for 5-6 hours. It makes it difficult to work, to cook, to clean and everything else.
When the power goes off, so does the water and the heating. At the moment, it's very cold outside and the flat is pretty cold too. There is a scedule of power-cuts, but recently it's just been going off randomly. You never know when it will come on again.
Of course, I understand that our situation is nothing compared to the conditions where the brave Ukrainian soldiers are.
