A coffee and chat with Trish Kerin | Chair – Major Hazards Advisory Committee (MHAC)
WorkSafe Victoria is excited to welcome Trish Kerin as the new Major Hazards Advisory Committee (MHAC) Chair.
Trish is highly experienced in the Major Hazards industry and is the current Director of the IChemE Safety Centre. As an award-winning international expert and key note speaker on process safety leadership, Trish has represented industry on many government committees and has sat on the board of the Australian National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA). She currently also sits on the Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center-TAMU steering committee at Texas A&M University.
MHAC functions as a multi-partite consultative body, with representatives from industry, unions, fire services and the community, with an independent chair and secretariat services provided by the Major Hazards Program at WorkSafe Victoria.
