Crystalline silica can be found in many common building materials such as bricks, concrete and tiles. Working with materials containing crystalline silica can create hazardous dust.
As an employer, you have a duty to protect your workers from any risks associated with crystalline silica. This includes the requirement to identify and manage high risk crystalline silica work.
