Using the turnips my neighbor gave me
I made senmaizuke.
It's so easy to make and delicious
Please try making it.
How to make senmaizuke
Turnip 3
Slice the turnip into 2-3mm thick pieces.
Sprinkle with salt and place a weight on it for pickling.
Discard the water from the marinated turnips.
Senmaizuke seasoning
Sugar 7 tablespoons
Hon mirin 4 tablespoons
Put 8 tablespoons of vinegar in a pot and heat until the sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat.
Add kelp and chili pepper to the turnips after discarding the water.
Add the cooled Senmaizuke seasoning.
(You can also add yuzu if you like)
Soak for 2-3 days and it's ready.
