The shortage of 3D data sets is the root cause of the slow progress of 3D representation and object prediction research. Therefore, the efficient production of a high-precision data set is the solution to this problem. 3D structured light scanner can not only collect 3D images with high accuracy, but also obtain MTL material library files and 2D RGB material maps, which is the best equipment for single 3D data collection. The core content of this project is to explore the reasons for selecting structured light scanners among CMM, laser scanners and structured light scanners, and to solve the defects of structured light scanners (including the influence of lighting environment and the influence of the surface material of the scanning objects on the scanning results). Finally, three experiments will be carried out to verify and solve these problems. After the problems been solved, a data set with 100 objects will be collected by using structured light scanner. Ultimatily, this project makes an in-depth study of the application of current 3D data.
