Sweet mother of monkey milk, I only signed up for this MEP FOURTEEN MONTHS AGO. Honestly, I didn't mean to take so long with this part. I think that's a new record for me – 14 months to make an MEP part. If you'd have asked me when I signed up for this, I probably would've said like, April or March, which is still a loooong time ago. But no, it was last September! I can't believe it, it's gone so quickly! But at long, long last, my part is finished.
I actually nearly dropped out of this MEP, just because inspiration was lacking. But I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I had one of my favourite songs and had claimed one of my favourite characters and it just felt weird that I couldn't motivate myself to edit them together. But, eventually I did. Fourteen months later. I'm still getting over the fact that I signed up for this over a year ago!
I wanted to try something a little different, seeing as the song is lively and exciting. So this is basically me just messing around, experimenting, seeing what I could come up with. I'm kind of pleased with the end result, even though it's not perfect. But honestly, I don't feel like I can go back and make any changes anyway, since I feel like this MEP part should have been completed a long time ago.
Oh yeah, and this is the second time in a row that I've used this overlay! Which is really funny, because when I downloaded the overlay, I honestly didn't think I'd find any use for it. And now it's like I seem to be using it all the time! xD
