Erasmus+ Model Your Future - 3D modelling exhibition - Martina - Rook
The final 3D modelling exhibition of Erasmus+ Model Your Future youth exchange that took place in Lithuania between 25th October - 3rd November, 2024 with participants from Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Estonia. Introduction by the participant:
“Hello, everyone! I'm Martina from Slovakia, and this is my first piece. It's a shield, and I made it by creating a cube and adjusting its height to make it thinner. Then, I rotated it and moved the points to create the shape of a shield. I also added a cross for decoration. And this is another piece of mine. I made it together with one Estonian boy named Kirill, and our idea was to make a creepy pumpkin that would look like it’s rotting from the inside. We added a UV sphere, and in sculpt mode, we added details like sharp teeth and a big mouth".
The goal of the project was familiarizing the participants with digital education, namely 3D modelling and increasing relevant competences to seek employment or to become entrepreneurs in this field.
The project consisted of facing the problem of low employability in youth and inspiring young people’s active involvement in entrepreneurial activities by developing skills in 3D modelling and raising awareness of this field as a solution for employment and self-employment.
Objectives of the project were: to introduce participants to all creative stages of 3D modelling; to increase the confidence of participants to engage in entrepreneurial activities using 3D modelling; and to raise the awareness of participants to entrepreneurial activities they can engage in by having 3D modelling skills.
