This video will explain how to solve a system of linear equations by elimination. I will show you 2 methods for solving when one of the variables has the same coefficient in both equations:
Method #1: Subtract the two equations to eliminate one of the variables.
Method #2: Multiply one of the equations by -1, and then add the two equations to eliminate one of the variables.
The solution for the practice problem in this video is (1.35, 2.25).
