Complex landslides involve multiple failure mechanisms, such as debris flows, rockfalls, and slope movements, which can occur simultaneously or in a cascading manner. The combination of these mechanisms can result in rapid and unpredictable changes in the landscape, making it difficult to anticipate the extent and location of the damage. To mitigate these hazards, accurate and timely information on physical road conditions, a comprehensive approach that involves identifying high-vulnerable road segments is required.

A GUI (graphical user interface) was developed to facilitate the expert rating process, using open source web service. The procedure covers quantitative vulnerability assessment of roads carried by a group of geological and geotechnical experts based on visual interpretation of pictures collected after and before the event. In this stage, we prioritizes road segments based on degree of damage of a number of parameters, such as degree of debris cover.
