Checkpoint and Restore in Kubernetes with CRIU | Talks at DeepSource
With Kubernetes v1.25, Checkpoint and Restore support was added — allowing users to save a container's state and perform a whole host of operations like live container migration, forensic analysis, etc. In this talk, Prajwal from the DeepSource Language Engineering team dives deep into how CRIU (Checkpoint Restore In Userspace) is used to implement C/R, and explores some creative use cases of this feature.
