Exploring functional patterns in Java 19 | Talks at DeepSource
Java has evolved quite rapidly over the past few years. In Java 19, we saw the first preview of an interesting feature — pattern matching in switch statements; specifically the ability to record patterns in switch expressions and blocks. In this talk, Raghav, from the DeepSource Language Engineering team explores certain functional constructs, a la Rust, but implemented using these new advancements in Java.
