THIS CLASSIC FREIGHTER NEEDS A CLEAN - CSL TADOUSSAC
As I continue my season of getting to know the Ships on the Great Lakes, I got the pleasure today of getting up very close to one of the classic style lake Freighters, actually, make that two!.
The CSL Tadoussac is one of only two classic front-end pilot house lakers still sailing for Canada Steamship Lines, with the other being the Frontenac. which just so happens to be in Port today as well!!
The past two decades have seen a tremendous decline in classic lakers in general on the Canadian side.
So in this video, we get to see CSL's 2 only front-end pilot house lakers in the same Port.
As I arrived in Port Colborne, the first thing I noticed was the fact that the vessel was filthy, covered in dust of some type.
I then launched the Sea Doo and got up close to both Frontenac and Tadoussac here in Port Colborne.
