Collision Avoidance and Pedestrian Warning System
A pedestrian detection and alert system is now equipped on York Region Transit buses.The system uses multiple cameras on the exterior of the bus to detect the presence of vulnerable road users, or VRUs, such as pedestrians and cyclists.
