Diabetes is a long-term chronic metabolic disease that occurs when the blood sugar level is too high and that, without control, leads to major complications….when the body does not produce insulin, does not produce enough or does not use it properly, glucose remains in the blood and thus diabetes appears…..the diabetic patient program that consists of an assessment by the head nurse, blood sampling of glycated hemoglobin……..internist assessment ……and finally a nutrition evaluation where eating habits are evaluated and a nutritional plan is given according to the condition and lifestyle of each patient.
