2025 VOLVO EX30 - Small Volvo, BIG impact? How good is this compact SUV in the T-ROC format
Volvo aims to shake up the compact SUV market. The new EX30 is designed to compete with successful models like the T-Roc and Kia XCeed. With the EX30, the Swedes are making a real splash, delivering a compact SUV that can sprint to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds with up to 315 kW of power. However, this is only possible with the Twin Motor version, where a 200 kW electric motor drives the rear axle, while a 115 kW front motor provides additional performance and traction. Our test drives focused on the slightly more sedate and affordable Extended Range model, which, thanks to its 69 kWh battery pack in the underbody, is said to offer a range of up to 476 kilometers.
