Esjan // Trail Running in Iceland
Esja, or Esjan is a mountain range that is very prominent from Iceland's capital city Reykjavik. It has a distinctly flat top and is a relatively easy ascent with stellar views of the bay. As we were only in Iceland for two days, we opted for something close to Reykjavik and easily accessible without a rental car. This turned out to be a pretty good bang for our buck, as the mountain was beautiful and the views did not disappoint.
