Cultivating Student Agency and Engagement - Part 2
In these interactive, 2-part virtual sessions, we will have a chance to think through what engagement looks like and sounds like within the context of our classrooms. Through models, examples, and reflection, we will unpack the difference between compliance and engagement, as well as examine the nuances of engagement. By the end of this session, participants will have language to more clearly describe student learning behaviors, discuss conditions for engagement, and make a plan to observe students and find ways to create these conditions in the classroom.
