South West National Park
Stops around the southern region of Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina (Southwest National Park for short). Visits to the Sagres Fortress on the south western tip of Portugal, then a quick drive over to Cabo do S. Vicente, the lighthouse you can see from the fortress across the steeply cliffed bay (and visa versa, as it turns out). Stops into Castelejo and Cordoama beaches, both deserted. And, up the coast a little to the surf haven at Bordiera Beach.
